LayerZero Announces First lzCatalyst Investment in Plume Network
LayerZero is thrilled to announce our inaugural lzCatalyst investment in Plume Network, the first full-stack L1 RWA Chain and ecosystem purpose-built for Real World Asset Finance (RWAfi). We're investing in Plume's Series A fundraise alongside partners Lightspeed Faction and Animoca Ventures, with the goal of accelerating their mission to bring real world assets onchain.
Designed to empower the development of projects built on LayerZero, the lzCatalyst program is dedicated to connecting the best builders with the best venture capital firms in crypto.
Plume is leveraging LayerZero's technology to create omnichain applications. Their yield protocol SkyLink utilizes LayerZero’s lzRead data primitive to enable seamless, secure yield distribution for RWAs across multiple blockchain ecosystems. By creating mirrored YieldTokens, SkyLink allows investors to access and manage institutional-grade yields permissionlessly from any blockchain.
Plume has already built a robust ecosystem, with over 180 projects developing on their network. As the first full-stack L1 RWA Chain, they offer a composable, EVM-compatible environment for tokenizing and managing diverse real-world assets. Their end-to-end tokenization engine and network of financial infrastructure partners simplify asset onboarding and enable smooth DeFi integration.

Projects that receive meaningful investment from one partner fund or participation from 2+ partner funds in a given round will be eligible to receive additional strategic capital investment directly from the LayerZero Foundation.
