When a payment or asset moves between blockchains, the receiving chain has to be certain the message that arrived is exactly the one that was sent. On LayerZero, providing that certainty is the job of a Decentralized Verifier Network (DVN). A DVN attests to the integrity of a cross-chain message before it is committed to a destination chain. The LayerZero protocol is permissionless, so any organization can operate a DVN, and every application chooses which DVNs verify its messages. Verification authority sits with the application owner, not with the protocol. A DVN plays the role an auditor plays for a set of accounts: an independent party that attests a record is genuine before anyone relies on it.
But most cross-chain protocols are built the other way around. They often ship a single shared validator set, so you pick the protocol and inherit whoever it already trusts. LayerZero offers applications a marketplace of independent verifiers (DVNs) to compose into their cross-chain security stack. Each verifier brings its own name, jurisdiction, infrastructure and reputation. The most consequential names in payments, asset management, telecom, and cloud have entered this marketplace as suppliers.
Worldpay, Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, Deutsche Telekom, and Google Cloud all run production DVNs on LayerZero today. Together their core businesses represent more than $10 trillion in annual financial activity and each one now offers its name as a verifier in the security stacks of stablecoin issuers, tokenized asset issuers, payment applications, and onchain protocols.

The Payments DVN is purpose-built for stablecoin flows and cross-chain payment operations. Any application moving value across chains can now include Worldpay as a required signer in its security stack, giving its compliance organization a widely-recognized name in global finance. The product is not Worldpay verifying Worldpay. It is Worldpay verifying for everyone else.

FCAT launched it's DVN on LayerZero earlier this year, validating messages across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, and Solana. Ondo Finance, which manages more than $2.5 billion in tokenized treasuries, equities, and yield-bearing products, signed on as the first integrator. Ondo has set a pattern that other tokenized asset issuers can follow.

Deutsche Telekom is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, and its subsidiary Deutsche Telekom MMS operates a DVN on LayerZero built on Open Telekom Cloud, with twin-core data centers in Germany and the Netherlands. The infrastructure is GDPR-compliant and runs on 100 percent renewable energy. It is purpose-built for European institutional clients, including banks, stablecoin issuers, and exchanges that need a verifier inside their own regulatory perimeter.
The Deutsche Telekom DVN currently secures messages across Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, Linea, Mantle, Polygon, Optimism, Gnosis, and Fantom. For a European stablecoin issuer building toward MiCA compliance, a Deutsche Telekom signature on every cross-chain transfer is no longer hypothetical. The verifier is live and selectable today.
A Cross-Chain Trust Anchor with Google Cloud

Google Cloud has operated a DVN on LayerZero since September 2023, making it one of the longest-running verifiers in production. The framing at launch was that the verifier should extend Google's existing role as a trust anchor for the internet, attesting to the integrity of cross-chain messages the same way Google attests to TLS certificate validity today.
The Google Cloud DVN sits in many of the most widely used security stacks on the network. BitGo selected it as part of the verifier set for wrapped Bitcoin. PYUSD includes it alongside Paxos and LayerZero Labs. For any application that wants Google as a name in its security configuration, the verifier has been selectable for three years already.
A Marketplace for Verification
These four institutional verifiers sit alongside more than 50 DVNs on the network, spanning every category of verification methodology:
- zk-based verifiers. Polyhedra and others prove message validity cryptographically.
- Hardware-attested verifiers. Canary runs inside AWS Nitro enclaves.
- Infrastructure operators. Established node operators like Nethermind and Blockdaemon.
- Issuer-run verifiers. Operated directly by the institutions whose assets they sign: BitGo for wrapped Bitcoin, Paxos for PYUSD, Ondo for its tokenized funds, and Ubisoft for player-owned game assets.
Every application composes its own configuration, and every issuer can install whichever verifiers it wants as required signers. The protocol stays unopinionated about who qualifies, the DVN marketplace is permissionless on both sides.
Compose Your Stack, Or Run Your Own
If you are a stablecoin issuer, a tokenized asset issuer, a payment application, or an onchain protocol moving value across chains, you can compose a security stack today that includes Worldpay, Fidelity’s Center for Applied Technology, Deutsche Telekom, Google Cloud, or any combination of the more than 50 verifiers live on the network. You choose which names your compliance organization recognizes, which jurisdictions your regulator understands, and which verification methodologies your security team trusts. If you are a Tier 1 institution that sees itself missing from this list, the same permissionless property applies in reverse. Any organization that can attest to the validity of a cross-chain message can run a DVN. The roster of enterprise verifiers will grow, because demand for institutional names in cross-chain security stacks is growing faster than the supply.
