A new LayerZero Decentralized Verification Network (DVN) is being secured by Deutsche Telekom MMS, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, enhancing cross-chain transaction security and efficiency for institutional clients.

Leveraging its trusted Open Telekom Cloud (OTC) infrastructure, Deutsche Telekom MMS operates the DVN to offer institutional clients - including banks, stablecoin issuers, and exchanges - a secure, compliant, and scalable platform for cross-chain asset and message transfers.

With twin-core data centers across Germany and the Netherlands, Deutsche Telekom’s OTC ensures that all processes comply with the highest European regulatory standards, including GDPR, while guaranteeing superior data sovereignty and security. Additionally, Deutsche Telekom MMS is committed to sustainability by powering its infrastructure with 100 percent renewable energy.

Seamless Messaging At Scale

LayerZero’s omnichain interoperability protocol powers over 70 percent of today’s Web3 cross-chain transactions ensuring seamless and secure transactions. By enhancing message transfer reliability and eliminating fragmented liquidity, LayerZero’s trusted infrastructure ensures the efficient movement of assets and data across multiple blockchains, without central points of failure. Thus, Deutsche Telekom MMS’s DVN currently secures cross-chain transactions across leading networks like Ethereum, Mantle, Linea, Fantom, Arbitrum, Solana, Avalanche, Base, BNB Smart Chain, Gnosis, Optimism, and Polygon. Further integrations are planned.

Deutsche Telekom is one of the world's leading integrated telecommunications companies. Through Deutsche Telekom MMS, digital experience service provider supporting businesses in their digital transformation, the company extends its expertise into blockchain, having operated validators, oracles, and indexers on protocols such as Injective, SQD, and NEAR since 2020.

Eugenio Carlon, Portfolio and People Cluster Lead Digital Trust / Cyber Security at Deutsche Telekom MMS, commented: “Our collaboration with LayerZero enables institutional clients to benefit from smooth, inter-chain transactions supported by robust security and sustainable practices. This development represents a significant step in the institutional adoption of Web3, underscoring the critical importance of decentralized blockchains in providing reliability, especially in the financial sector.”

Bryan Pellegrino, CEO and Co-Founder at LayerZero, added: “Deutsche Telekom MMS strengthens our ecosystem by bringing enterprise-grade security, compliance, and scalability. Their infrastructure and commitment to sustainability make them the ideal partner in advancing cross-chain transaction reliability, accelerating blockchain adoption, and supporting institutional clients in the evolving digital economy.”
