Today we’re sharing a handful of updates to ecosystem operations for both Stargate and LayerZero Labs:
Stargate Updates
Redeeming STG
As part of our acquisition of Stargate last year, STG holders have been able to convert their STG to ZRO. This will remain available until December 15; conversions will not be supported after this date.
Between now and December 15th, we’ll work with exchanges, market makers, custodians, and ecosystem partners to support the transition.

Stargate Bus
Stargate currently supports two methods of delivering transactions: Taxi, which delivers assets immediately on the destination chain; and Bus, which batches transactions for reduced gas cost. Starting October 1, all Stargate transactions will be delivered via Stargate Taxi.
LayerZero Labs Updates
Testnet Support
We’ve historically supported testnets across virtually every chain connected to the LayerZero mesh. In the time since, we’ve observed that the vast majority of these testnets are not consistently utilized; supporting them spreads resourcing too thin, limiting our ability to provide the best possible support to the most utilized testnets.
Moving forward, we're narrowing our focus to roughly ten prioritized testnets, to ensure builders have the best possible experience. Support for remaining testnets will be phased out by the end of October. An ongoing list of supported chains will be reflected in the docs. Any chain interested in additional support beyond this window can reach out to their LayerZero point of contact for more information.
Bug Bounty Updates
Alongside the deprecation of the LayerZero Labs V1 Relayer on December 15th, the LayerZero V1 bug bounty will conclude on the same date. Additionally, we are increasing the size of the LayerZero v2 bug bounty to $3.5m, and merging the legacy Stargate program under the LayerZero program, effective immediately.
